About

Bio PictureI came to know about Acupuncture and its strong benefits when receiving treatments for a sporting injury sustained while pursuing a professional golf career. After recovering from a multiple muscle tear in almost half the time my Drs had suggested, I continued to use Acupuncture for many other health benefits. It was after finishing this sporting pursuit that I turned to studying the form of medicine that had given me so many amazing health benefits.

I completed a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture at the Australian College of Natural Medicine, followed by completing an Advanced Internship of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University in Nanning, China. During this Internship I received the invaluable experience of studying and working under some of the most respected and experienced Professors and Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.

After completing the Internship, I returned home to Australia where I established my own Acupuncture business, working in the Brisbane and Gold Coast areas. I also spent two years of this time traveling throughout Queensland offering treatments to help with smoking cessation with great success. While I have maintained good success in treating a large variety of conditions, I began to focus on treating women’s health concerns, fertility support (natural fertility, IVF/IUI support), pregnancy care, natural labour preparation, natural labour induction, and all things musculoskeletal (aches, pains, injuries, arthritis). Working from a few locations in Brisbane and the Gold Coast also gave me the great experience of working alongside many other healthcare professionals covering both mainstream medical and natural medical backgrounds. From this experience I have picked up a lot of extra healthcare knowledge, as well as a strong team mentality, working with many other healthcare professionals to obtain the strongest results possible for my patients.

I also took my skills in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine abroad, working on board luxury cruise liners as a resident Licensed Acupuncturist for 5 years. During this time I provided treatments to thousands of passengers from all parts of the globe, seeking help for all types of health concerns. While on board, I also spent a lot of my time providing educational health seminars, bringing about the awareness of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the many benefits they have to offer. I was able to really grow my skills in this time and have now returned to Australian shores to provide my many years of experience and knowledge to help you with your health concerns.
